Stroll along our StoryWalk trail featuring And Tango Makes Three by Justin Richardson. 

And Tango Makes Three has been a popularly challenged book since its publication in 2005 because it features LGBTQIA+ content. It most recently made the American Library Association's list of top 10 most challenged books in 2019 and was one of the top 100 most banned and challenged books from 2010-2019. Between January 1 and August 31, 2023, ALA’s Office for Intellectual Freedom (OIF) reported 695 attempts to censor library materials and services and documented challenges to 1,915 unique titles.
