Graduate Student Library Advisory Board (GSLAB)
The Committee acts as a sounding board for proposed library changes in policy, systems, programs, and services. It is a vital communication link between the library and the graduate student community. Additionally, it advises Fondren Library on matters related to supporting the library needs of graduate students at Rice University.
We will be recruiting for new members for this important advisory board in the near future. The Committee is facilitated by the UX Office at Fondren. Please email Debra Kolah with any questions!

Bio: Osinachi Okafor is a first-year student of Art History (PhD). I am interested in the Contemporary Art of Nigerian Female Artists. I am a lover of Art. For Art is Life.

Swetha Sridhar
Department: Systems, Synthetic, and Physical Biology
Bio: I am a graduate student studying Synthetic Biology at Rice University. I design tools to probe the rich complexity of microbial interactions with carbon pools in the soil. My thesis work is centered around designing a bottom-up model system to understand the biotic drivers of soil organic carbon preservation. I enjoy tinkering with different analytical and metrological tools to understand the biomechanical properties of bacterially-synthesized protein materials.
