Highlights:

  • Replica of the Cyrus Cylinder (An ancient Persian artifact from 539 BCE symbolizing religious tolerance and governance under Cyrus the Great.)
  • Bapsi Sidhwa books and photograph (8/11/1938-12/25/2024) A longtime Houston resident and former writing professor at Rice's School of Continuing Studies.  Many of her novels had been adapted to film, including her 2006 novel: Water: A Novel.  Water, the film, was directed by Deepa Mehta and nominated for Best Foreign Film at the 1999 Academy Awards. 
  • Topi, ses, jhabla, and other cultural artifacts
  • Zoroastrian Association of Houston oral history interviews
