Advanced Digital Photography

For those familiar with digital photography basics like the exposure triangle and simple composition, this course will dive into more complex photographic techniques. Learn about advanced compositional rules that you can apply to guide a viewer's focus to different aspects of your photo, artistic techniques like long exposures and natural lighting, and what makes an expert photo in genres like landscape, sports, journalism, and portraiture. The goal is to develop your current skills and knowledge as a photographer. Course content can be catered to emphasize specific genres or techniques, so if you have a specific interest or speciality please indicate it during registration. If you have a camera, it is recommended you bring it to the course, otherwise you may check one out from the DMC to follow along.
